The option Dossier is used to calculate the difference between costs and revenues per 'dossier' or the difference between pre-and post-calculation. A 'dossier' can be a project. Ledger accounts with the dossier attribute are sorted and balanced by the dossier number. In the default view only the dossiers are shown if the balance is not zero. Dossiers can be shown with further densification.

If Department is installed, it becames also active in all relevant modules. For example, in BuyIt or Order dossier numbers can be entered in quotes, orders, invoices or packing slips.

Dossier can be combined with Department.
